We offer scope mounting, bore sighting and custom scope mounts. We also offer the entire array of accuracy packages from bedding and floating to completely building your one-of-a-kind custom hunting rifle or pistol. We can do trigger work or replacement on a wide range of hunting weapons; also recoil pads for those hard kicking rifles and custom muzzle brakes to REALLY tame that blaster. We can even take your weapon and sight it in for you.
Cowboy Action Shooting
Cowboy shooting sports has really grown in the Treasure Valley area and RK Gunsmithing offers action work, custom barrels and builds to accommodate all the facets of the cowboy world. Fast draw, cowboy action and mounted shooting all benefit from our detail oriented care for their "shootin irons.”
Trap/Skeet Shooting
Trap and skeet shooters are some of the premiere firearms enthusiasts here so we can enhance their firearms by adding chokes and lengthening forcing cones. We also add recoil reducers and fitting stocks and stock work for the individual shooter.
Action Shooting
Action shooters encompass a huge range of sports from practical pistol, defensive pistol, bull’s-eye, and 3 gun. At RK Gunsmithing, we are well versed and compete with most of these sports so we are intimate with the guns and issues the shooters may have. We have built many custom guns for the action shooters and we are always trying to stay ahead of the latest developments in this ever growing shooting arena. All of our services come into play here from basic trigger and reliability work to refinishing and after market add-on’s to enhance the shooters competitive edge.
